Founded in 1981 in Florence (in via Pisana), the business is now located in Calenzano and deals with the wholesale and retail sale of items for small, medium and large industries. It is directed by three partners: Roberto Landi, Fabio Mariani and Leonardo Landi. The company operates in various industrial sectors (filtration, hydraulic, pneumatic, sealing elements, electromechanics, control and movement of gas and process fluids). Batistoni was born as a distributor of pneumatic transmission components for mechanical workshops in the Tuscan territory. Over time, the company has specialized in electromechanical components for the process industry, eventually becoming Parker Premier Distributor for Tuscany in 1995.

The range of components and instruments that Parker Instrumentation offers for the process industry is very wide, from certified stainless steel air fittings to valves for chemical and pharmaceutical processes (in PTFE or high purity), with operating pressures from 10 / 100 bar up to very high pressures (20 thousand / 60 thousand psi). Batistoni supplies in particular the chemical and petrochemical sectors, the Oil & Gas, the paper industry, the tanning, the marble, food, railway, pharmaceutical / medical and shipbuilding sectors of the entire Tuscan territory. Can you tell us the story of Batistoni and how the company has developed to reach the milestone of 40 years of activity?

The company was founded in Florence in via Pisana in 1981, after which it moved to via Baccio in Montelupo and subsequently to via Palazzo Dei Diavoli, the site where the transformation of the company began, from a company mainly focused on the distribution of transmission components to company most involved in dealing with instrumentation, hydraulic and pneumatic products. Only in 1999, when the company began to expand its business and its internal organization chart, did it change and definitively moved to its current headquarters, located in Calenzano in Via del Pratignone, 52. So as to have a large warehouse and an area offices equipped to receive any customer need. In 2004, the company made available to customers the new "Hose Doctor" service, a van equipped with a mobile workshop, for the repair of flexible hoses on site throughout Tuscany. What are the main products you distribute and what services do you offer?

We offer a wide range of instrumentation, hydraulics, hydraulics, pneumatics, filtration, fluid control and seals products. The company offers many services to its customers in addition to technical assistance and advice from our sales staff.

Thanks to the detailed knowledge of the products gained over time, to an artisanal approach that also includes the construction of systems from design to testing and thanks to package solutions. The final result is that the customer can request the same tube in any Parker Store in the world, the code can also be communicated by telephone to the store in order to find, at the time of collection, the tube ready.
Another important service offered to customers is "Hose Doctor" through a van equipped with a mobile workshop, for the repair of flexible hoses Batistoni is able to provide a personalized and fast service to its customer, on site throughout Tuscany within 24 hours. from the call. A further service offered by Batistoni to its customers is a Consignment Stock warehouse service, through a special supply system; on the basis of defined historical consumption, to ensure that the customer at any time has the materials he needs available in his warehouse and close to his production.
